For freelancers
Bill the hours you actually worked.
Most freelance timesheets are reconstructed on the last day of the month, from memory and commit dates. Inlinr records editor time as it happens, keeps calls and meetings on the same sheet, and turns a period into an invoice your client can check.

From editor to invoice
- 1
Track
The editor plugin records time per repository on its own. Nothing to start, nothing to forget to stop.
- 2
Add the rest
Calls, meetings and reviews go in as manual entries, marked billable or not.
- 3
Invoice
Pick the period. The invoice prices tracked time and billable entries at the project's rate.
Rates that never rewrite history
Set an hourly rate and currency per project. Raising it applies from that day on; an invoice that spans the change prices each segment at its own rate.
Printable invoices
Line items per project and period, billable manual entries included, ready to print or save as PDF from the browser.
A link your client can open
A read-only report for one project, with the contents you choose and an optional PIN. Revoke it whenever you like.
Your data, in your tools
CSV and JSON exports for your accounting software or your own spreadsheet. The iCal feed of your manual entries is on every plan.
What your client sees
On a share link, if you choose
- Hours on their project, per period
- Languages, editors and AI tools
- Files touched
- Billable manual entries
- Billable amounts at your rate
Never
- Your other clients or projects
- Source code — it never leaves your machine
- Screenshots, keystrokes or idle detection
- Non-billable entries
- Anything after you revoke the link
How the hours are counted
Time is the gaps between editor heartbeats, and a gap longer than your idle timeout counts for nothing. No rounding up, no phantom quarter-hours after a break. If a client asks how a total was reached, there is a one-paragraph answer.

Can I bill time I spent outside the editor?
Yes. Log meetings, calls, reviews or admin as manual entries, each with a duration and a billable flag. Billable entries appear on the invoice and on client links next to tracked editor time; the rest stays on your dashboard only.
What happens to old invoices when I raise my rate?
Nothing. Hourly rates are versioned per project, so a new rate applies from the day you set it. An invoice whose period spans the change shows each segment at the rate that was active for it.
What does a client see on a share link?
A read-only report for one project that you choose the contents of: files, breakdowns, manual entries and billable amounts can each be shown or hidden. A PIN can be added. Your other projects are never visible.
Does my client see my code?
No. The plugins send file paths, languages and branches, never file contents, so there is no code on Inlinr to show anybody.
What the plugins sendDo I need Pro?
Tracking, AI attribution and manual entries are free. Invoices, client share links, exports and history beyond 30 days are Pro, at €4 a month or €40 a year, one charge per freelancer whatever the number of clients.
